::a leftover extra::

I just found this video I forgot to stick in one of the Disney World posts. (Hah, "stick"! You'll get that joke later.)
It's too good to leave out, so enjoy all 23 seconds please.
Kris is quite the long suffering dad.

::do they still look alike?::

Max at about 1 year old:

Sand at about 1 year old as well:

What do you think? Opinions? I definitely see some similarities, but also a lot of differences. Coloring for sure. Max was blond and though Sandy's hair isn't super dark it's not blond.
They're both STINKING cute.

::is it genetic?::

Is it genetic, or are laundry baskets just the best toy ever? Sandy seems to be as obsessed with them as his older brother is.

He's as cute as can be.

::easter final part or even more bunny ears::

You won't believe how long they kept the bunny ears on for me.

Max actually likes his, and I don't think the baby had any idea he had his on.

I love how these two get along. They really do both adore each other. I hope it can continue that way.

Kris came up with an amazing baby breakthrough while we were in UT waiting to have our family picture taken. He has a secret phrase. (Shhhh, it goes like this: "Eat the pig, eat the pig. Ziggy, ziggy, ziggy zig." Have you ever watched Bill & Ted's excellent adventure?) Anyway, whenever he says this secret phrase to the baby, the baby cracks up. He thinks it's so funny. It can even sometimes bring him out of a screaming fit. Max and I use it too, all the time.
So these pictures were taken by way of the secret phrase.

So cute. Happy Easter, one and all. We're always glad to celebrate this wonderful holiday, and so much more glad this year as the idea of the atonement and resurrection becomes more and real and important to us. Love you all.

::dinner & kris::

Kathy made us a delicious pizza a couple of nights ago. It had ricotta cheese, artichokes, tomatoes and some delicious shredded cheeses that I don't remember.

She even made me a couple of non-tomatoed pieces which I thought was so sweet.

Anyway I was trying to take a picture of the cute people at the table, and somebody was giving me some trouble. It's not necessarily the guy you'd expect.

He just refused to behave.

I do appreciate him setting such a good example for his crazy son, of course.

(these pictures are from about a month ago when Kelly & Lechelle & B were here to visit and we went up to Taos Ski Valley. I have more pictures that are fun and eventually they might actually get posted!!)

::scavengers::

I've got a couple of little (or big, depending on how you look at it) scavengers on my hands, don't you agree?

We made Marilyn's cookies yesterday, just for fun. (Before all the crazy destructiveness happened.)
They turned out very tasty, but I think I might have overmixed--they're a lot flatter than I was hoping for. That Mr. Kitchenaid doesn't know his own strength.
Kind of like someone else I know.
Unfortunately for Max, all his shenanigans happened before he could have a cookie or two, so many tears ensued when he went to bed deprived of the deliciousness.

The good news is though, today has already been better. He's had one and I'm sure he'll have a few more before the day is out.
Hooray for better days.
Thanks for the yummy recipes Marilyn, as usual!
